Breast cancer accounts for ~15% of all new cancer cases in the UK — that’s around 56,500 new cases in women and ~390 in men each year (2017–2019). @cancerresearchuk Recent projections show that breast cancer mortality rates in the UK are expected to fall by ~6–7% by 2025, reflecting progress in early detection, better treatments and awareness efforts.
